With more than a decade of leadership experience in higher education, Briyanna Jenkins is breaking down how Black people can master the rules of engagement for bringing about positive change in predominately white institutions. Bri also shares her mission of inspiring members of her community to advocate for themselves academically, professionally, and personally. Tune in for success strategies and inspiration.



Guest Bio


Briyanna Jenkins is a higher education professional who has worked at various colleges and universities for over 10 years. She is a native Floridian who holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Florida State University and a Master of Education degree from the University of South Florida. She is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Central Florida studying within the intersection of public affairs and higher education. Briyanna is a public and community servant who is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and the NAACP.


Briyanna lives by the J.Cole motto, "There's no such thing as a life that's better than yours," and she uses that mantra to inspire and educate her community to be self-advocates and choose better for themselves in their academic and personal lives. She believes that in order to do that, we must educate ourselves on the rules of this world as black people in predominately white spaces to use their playbook to our advantage.
